Arthur – As a shale gas expert, what’s your opinion on shale gas vs. gas from an Alaska Gas Pipeline?

Will shale gas kill the pipeline?

Perhaps the better question is will nearly free nat gas from the Middle East being shipped as LNG kill shale gas? The price is likely to be less than $2/MCF and the cost to ship could be less than that. Shale gas isn’t competitive below $6-7/MCF
